It is quite pathetic, how Nigerians devise means of swindling her own people through fake adverts on social media. Lately, You would hardly read through any post on Facebook or other social media site; without reading post like: Sugar Mummy hookups, MTN cheats, WAEC result upgrade, Dangote cement and Custom Auction Cars; just to mention a few.
The annoying part is; ignorant and greedy people fall prey to these fraudsters without taking time to ask themselves pertinent questions like: does the Nigerian Custom Service sell cars on Facebook? If really they do, why using different names as its agent without designated offices spread across Nigeria? Also, these fraudsters post on different social media sites claiming to link prospective young men to rich Sugar Mummies. And in turn, demand for a fee through recharge card or bank deposit; for a service that only exist as an illusion.
Finally, when did MTN become so silly, to allow people double their recharge with such ease as claimed by these dumb wise guys? Call it tweak, cheat or whatever; they all represent one thing -- known as SCAM. Nigerians really need to be aware of their formats and tricks, and not send recharge card or money to anyone claiming any of the aforementioned.
Doing so, is tantamount to being a certified 'mugu' of the 21st Century.
